Ecamsule (Mexoryl SX) is an organic (chemical) UV filter covering UVA. It is allowed in Korean sunscreens (up to 10%). In the United States it is not on the general sunscreen ingredient list; it is allowed only in specific products approved through a new drug application. In the EU it is allowed (up to 10%).
