How this works
Every product page comes from the Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) open dataset "Functional Cosmetics Report List" published on data.go.kr (license: unrestricted use). We download it automatically every day.
In Korea, products claiming UV protection, brightening (whitening) or wrinkle improvement are functional cosmetics and must be reported to or reviewed by the MFDS. The registry records the product name in Korean, the responsible company, the registered SPF/PA, the certified function and the date.
Limits — please read
- The registry does not include full ingredient lists.
- Korean registration is not approval by the US FDA, EU or other regulators.
- English product names are either the brand's official English name or our translation of the registered Korean name (marked as a translation). Untranslated products show the brand, product type and Korean name.
- Certified-function text is translated from a fixed set of standard Korean claims; the original Korean is always shown.
