What the registration certifies
- Helps protect the skin from UV rays
- Helps improve the appearance of wrinkles
Original Korean claim: 피부의 주름개선에 도움을 준다. 자외선으로부터 피부를 보호한다. (SPF 30, PA++)
What this does and doesn't tell you
- In Korea, sunscreens, brightening and anti-wrinkle products are functional cosmetics: they must be reported to or reviewed by the MFDS before sale, and the SPF/PA on the label should match what was registered.
- The registry does not publish full ingredient lists, and Korean registration is not US FDA approval. Check the label on your product for ingredients.
- To spot fakes, compare the Korean product name and SPF/PA on your box with the registered name above.
